Nice to hear from you again Jim.....

I have been sending "thank you" e-mail's to the companies which have
responded to date and do intend to send them all a letter at the end of the
event with a full list of the winners.

I like the idea of spreading out the prizes to as many people as possible, I
had just no idea that companies would be as forthcoming as they have been so
far. I am an unknown quantity to most of them and I'm sure that a lot
haven't heard of the AGA either. I expected it would take more effort to
establish our credibility.

To date, we haven't incurred any expenses.... so I don't think we need worry
the AGA MC with any official request at this point in time - there are 4
months to go before the closing date and I'm sure that we will have a better
idea of where we will stand a few months down the road.

As of right now, we have a confirmed 26 prizes, so I have no doubt that we
can come up with the items to make sure that each 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
winner in each Category gets a prize as well as a ribbon. We might even be
able to swing some "Honorable Mentions".

And now..... I'm going to ask all of the LURKERS to do something.... get off
of your backsides and start promoting this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You folks
were not invited to join this list to just sit and read.

If there is a local club in your city, visit the web site and go to the
"Press Room". Print out a copy of the Poster and the Club announcement and
get BOTH to your local club. And don't forget the local fish stores - they
will ALL put up a copy of the poster if you ask them to.
