Hi Everyone, I spent a couple of hours sitting outside on the gorgeous day we had yesterday, and pouring over hard copy of all the E-mail from the last week. Along with this post, you will receive a number of others, each with a subject line corresponding to a committee. Each of these will contain what I consider the main points of discussion pertaining to these committees. There may also be some personal comments/opinions from me. When I DO make a personal comment, I'll [bracket] it. I'd like EVERYONE to read these carefully, whether they are related to your particular committee or not. By the end of the week, I'd like motions submitted on all items that need decisions. To save on excess messages, I suggest that we bend Robert's Rules somewhat, and dispense with the need to "second" motions. If someone feels strongly that a motion needs to be ammended, or is inappropriate, we'll deal with that (hopefully infrequent) event when it comes up. Sound OK? Please respond to THIS message with procedural responses. Respond to the individual committee messages ONLY with responses related to that committee's business. Thanks! Karen
