Re: Revised Agenda - response

In response to agenda:

1. I am unable to develop regions without knowing who is where to ask for
delegates. Perhaps we could ask on the APD who is interested? All that we
have done is hand out and place membership forms in Germany at Interzoo and
here in Baltimore at the Aquarium Center in Randallstown, MD. Jonathan
Kirschner has volunteered on my committee. and has sent in some suggestions
that I'm reviewing.

2. I am not aware of the NY/Penn Fall Fish Festival. Where, when, etc.?

3. See No. 1

4. Ask for volunteers on APD of AGA members (like No.1)?

5. My vote is "yes" to pick up part of Eric's costs -- if not all.

AGENDA BELOW

1. Committee Reports

New Business:

2. AGA participation in NY/Penn Fall Fish Festival

3. Creation of an AGA email directory. In particular, it would be great to
know how many AGA members are on the APD? and how many otherwise have email

4. The TAG editor is getting tired of the current job. To extend his
tenure, he needs an associate" editor to help coordinate much of the
routine or administrative work. A band of volunteers is nice, but a few
responsible people would be much better. The nature of the job is
intermittent, so 'workers' need a steady flow of work to stay busy and
motivated. This is another new needed position, which needs the assistance
of the MC.

4. AGA could use a "Volunteer Coordinator"... to seek out and then ensure
placement of volunteers. We have been asking for input on our membership
forms, there is not adequate
followup at the current time.

5. Erik would like input on the AGA website. I think we should discuss
whether AGA should pick up part of his monthly costs. I'm not sure we
should ask him to shoulder this burden financially as well as doing all the
work.

Anyone else have anything to add? If not, let's try to stick to the
business on the list.
