That's good, because the "decision" appears to have already been made. I
just saw in the August issue of TFH (p. 188) that "This show will include
the convention of the Aquatic Gardeners Association."

This same thing happened last year for the NEC. Is there any way our
organization can make this announcement to the members before it gets
published in commercial magazines?

I am looking for a volunteer to prepare an index of TAG for 1997.... or
someone to find someone else to do it. Jare had initially done the indices,
then Diana Walstad prepared one thru 96.

I still strongly feel that we need a volunteer coordinator to seek out good
people to help with the running of this organization and to help find
volunteers for the "job" above or to fill positions like my request for an
associate editor ( to handle the routine/clerical aspects of the job..eg.
scanning/formating and even some editing of material for publication. (I
liked Merrill's idea to post a message on the APD, but for serious jobs it
is best to approach people one-on-one to be sure we will find someone good,
reliable and someone that we can work with). 

Any other comment? Normally, it would be up to the individual person (like
me) to seek out and find my own helper, but honestly, after doing this job
for 8 years my energy is waining.  So, I am seeking help from the MC.
