Hi Merrill.  I agree, and I'm glad you're willing to take him on.
Sometimes people can surprise you, and be very useful if their energies can
be directed into productive directions!  Shall I contact him, or do you
want to?  Do you think that Jack's idea of new member packets could be
incorporated into his "job"?

I don't know anything more about him, although his name is vaguely
familiar.  It might just be that I remember it from postings on the APD.

I just went back and checked my old E-mail files, and found one off-list
conversation I had with him on fluorescent lighting.  He was obviously not
well informed on lighting, but was respectful in his tone, and by the end
of the conversation was willing to believe what I had told him. (after
verifying my facts for himself with the manufacturer's, but that's fine
too<g>)
