New "product" for AGA promotion or sale?

Khew Sin Sun <khewss@singnet.com.sg> and partners in Singapore are
producing a CD version of an aquarium magazine. The premier issue of
the CD  will come out next week (the master's with their CD
duplicators now). It will include one of my articles on Red algae.

I have  seen a draft product and it looks good. He wondered if we we could
offer this CD to members of AGA at
a discounted rate. They're suggesting a retail of US$9.95 per copy. He
suggests that some
other ways of working at this could also be areas where AGA could give away
complimentary copies to its new subscribers.They will sell the product to
us for "something like a 50% off
SRP for AGA (that's about US$5 per CD)" However, he then says that this
would be at an order of up to 500 copies (minimum of 300). I replied by
saying that I will pass this on to the decision making body of AGA. I
already indicated that we might not be able to use 300 at one time.

Y'all can discuss this and then the aga rep can respond directly to Khew.

PS. I posted this message by mistake on the APD. My email address for this
