It sounds like something we should be doing if only to prevent the complaints about not getting anything for a long time after joining. Only the best and hard-to-find and most expensive. If it's cheap they can buy it themselves. Might require a deposit equal to the purchase price of the book. And I was thinking of charging a little bit ($.50 per week, $1 min. ????) for borrowing. I'm not enthusiastic about the idea. Most club libraries are poorly used, and have trouble getting books back. The cheap library rates probably mean slow delivery. Can anyone who can't afford $50 to buy a book come up with $50 to rent one? Do you charge for the amount of time the book is in their possession or the amount of time it is out of our possession?
