Well, wait a minute.  The way the organization is set up right now, she's
not ON the management committee.  She's on Neil's editorial committee, and
communications should go through him.  If she wants to take over an open
committee chair, then she would be on the MC.  Do we want to offer her one?
 Which one do you think, Bob?  

We have other people who work for AGA who are also not on the MC. (Dave
Gomberg, Bob Day, Diana Walstadt and Olga Betts come immediately to mind)

I'm not saying the structure _has_ to remain this way, but this is the way
it is currently set up.
