I just remembered that today is July 15, and if this "triple issue" of TAG does get to the printer this week, then it will get to people sometime in August -- if we are lucky!! Then I realized that I (we) will soon have to work on the July-Aug issue!!!! I am not ready for this.... are you? Therefore, I think it will be better to call this 76 page issue: Vol. 12 nos 1-4 Jan-Aug Otherwise I will be starting 2 months late and I do not like the feeling. I am also concerned about the small amount of material sitting in my archive. Bob, what do you think? If you concur, go ahead and make the change for the cover and TOC page. I will then explain the situation in "the editor's page" I am also starting to again think about making this a quarterly publication. If and when there is a new editor, he/she can go to a different publication cycle. If the AGA board thinks that the members need more frequent mailings, then they can come up with an additional mailout. Perhaps a newsletter format would be good. Many clubs do this with a monthly or bimonthy mailing (eg."What's New with the AGA") together with a periodic journal (1-4 times per year). This way, the non-internet members more regularly learn what is going on. The AGA "journal", TAG, might even develop into a higher quality publication (more color, better content, etc). Even Amano discontinued his monthly journal and went to a different format. Neil
