I would be going myself, AGA or no, if I could get away that weekend. I think it's going to be great. What I _don't_ like is Ted advertising it as such, without running it by the AGA. Now it's _possible_ that it was a misunderstanding. But I've had more than one opportunity to learn to mistrust him. I wouldn't make a big deal about it, but Neil, maybe when you are there in person, you can nicely explain that for an event to be listed as an "AGA" function, we like to have enough advance notice that we (as a _group_) have been invited that we can notify our members in advance. They've been planning this event for a year, and have touting it as the biggest and best thing since sliced bread, they could have made the decision to invite AGA to participate a long time ago. North Jersey is part of the NEC, so they _know_ that AGA does officially attend regional conventions. All they needed to do was ask. Erik, as far as your local thing is concerned, if you can pull something together on short notice, go for it. If not, why not mention that it's a possibility for next year if they're interested. Karen
