New vote and some information too

Hi Everybody.,

        After some changes, the vote on dropping PAM was nearly unanimous. Dave
Lass sent me the following message about his communication with Gomberg.

Hi Bob -- 
Dave Gomberg and I just had a very pleasant telcon in which I informed
him that AGA was going to pass on getting involved with PAM at this point
in time. He wishes us luck, very sincerely, and I wished him the same. 
Please let me know if you want me to do anything else.

        Regarding the voting issue, I made a motion as follows:

        I propose we have a policy that responses to votes are expected within
one week of the posting requesting the vote ( the day the chair writes
the vote request )
>I also expect that if you know you will be unavailable for more than a
day or two, you give the group that information, with the day you expect
>to be available again.

        That motion has been seconded by Neil. Please vote yes or no to accept
it.
