Happy New Year!
Before I leave for vacation, I wanted to let you
all know where things stand with TAG V13n1. As I was telling Bob C., I was
overly optimistic about how much I was going to be able to get done with both
kids home for vacation. I also spent quite a bit of time helping with
the final copy of V12n6. It should be mailed out at the end of this week
or the beginning of next week.
I am going to need more time to find a new
publisher, so we are going to go with Universal Printing for one more
issue.
My goal is to have submit V13n1 to Universal by
Februay 1st, allowing Bob Day 2 weekends to get the layout done. So
hopefully it would get mailed out by February 15th. I have told Cogwell
that I want to establish some deadlines, he was agreeable, and I will be
e-mailing him before I leave.
As far as advertising is concerned, AGA ads
will appear in all three magazines in the April issues, which will be on the
newsstands and sent to subscribers by about March 1st. Our free FAMA ad
under "Specialized Societies" has been corrected. Two free ads will appear
in TFH, one under "Events", advertising our gathering and Klaus Christiansen
with both the NEC and the AGA web sites listed for more information. Our
ad in AFM cost between $360 -$375 for a year plus we get two months
free.
