By-Laws, etc.

Hi Everybody,

        I am a little surprised that there hasn't been more discussion on the
proposed bylaws. I know that the volume of what there is to go thru is
large, but expected more than just Neil and Bob M to respond. Bob's input
was that he wanted to suggest an alternate to the election process.
However, that still leaves a lot to be covered in the meantime. How about
 commenting on just article one, membership. Once that is done, we can go
on to another section, other than elections. We'll save that until Bob's
proposal is in hand.
        One thing that I am trying to avoid is having a big discussion at the
NEC because we haven't kept things moving.

        I've finally received the hard copy of the proposal on the Aquascaping
Showcase and Contest. In the next day or two, after I have had a chance
to study it, I will be starting the discussion in it too.

        I made an executive decision to trade with PAM for space to promote each
of our services. I will be sending Gomberg's input to Mary today and
requesting someone to write up our input to PAM.
