Re: AGA BookStore, Catalog Restocking

Dear AGAers,

     I have some problems restocking the catalogs:

ORIENTAL CATALOG:

 I am out of the Oriental catalogs entirely.  I contacted the catalog sponsor 
Eu It
Hai and she/he said they?ll have new catalogs in May and will donate some to 
the AGA.
I?ve asked them to donate (or sell) 40 to 50.  We?ll see?.

Mary, would you please make a notation in the next TAG that the AGA is 
temporarily out
of the Oriental catalog?

Erik, would you please make a notation on the AGA Bookstore website that we are
temporarily out of the Oriental catalog?


TROPICA CATALOG:

 As to the Tropica catalog, I have about 19 left, and they are going fast.  I
contacted Tropica last week about sending 50-80 more, but have so far gotten no
response.  John Glaeser has asked to buy 30 from us, so I?d like to buy a 100 
if I
can, and send 30 to him.

    So anyone going to NEC, please ask Claus C. to help us out here?-- if he 
can.  The
Tropica catalog is very nice and I?d really like to have a good supply of it.  
If the
catalogs are sent by surface mail, it may take a couple of months, so even 
though I
have 19, we?ll be out of them soon and the AGA will be reduced to sending out a 
lot of
refund checks or asking hobbyists to wait.

    Any help here would be appreciated.
