The only one I can think of is that allowing nonmembers to purchase books might increase the workload on Diana Walstad, who is volunteering, of course, the time and effort. According to this argument, hard-to-get volunteer effort should be spent on members, not nonmembers. Question: If nonmembers were allowed to purchase books, would the frequency of orders go up a lot?
