Re: Details for AGA-AQTN2000

Karen,
I would reserve the name Aquatic Plant Summit for the real thing. Summit
means peak or climax. This is the planning meeting or pre-summit, so a more
appropriate title is something like "First North American Aquarium Plant
Conference"... sponsored by the AGA and the TN Aquarium. My impression is
that summits are only attended by the top people... this makes it sound too
exclusive and I don't think that is what we want for this first gathering.
You can still include "Planning Committee Meeting for International Aquatic
Plant Summit 2001" as one of the activities. This should be sufficient to
indicate our intentions to the big-wigs. Please let me know if you want to
discuss further.
For my talk, you can call it "Alternative Ways to Keep Plants in Home
Aquaria." I cc'd Charlene so she can comment on the activity list.
Otherwise, let it rip.

PS. After a few wording changes, I assume Erik will post on the AGA page
and an APD contributor like Karen will post it on APD.(everyone reads
Karen's posts)
