Hi, everyone,

Good news!  I did speak to John Cogwell this morning, and he does have
electronic files on TAG.  He says that whatever files we sent him, he still
has, and they're final copy.  I presumed when I spoke with him that from the
very first issue we used electronic files and didn't think to check this
out.  Is my assumption correct?  Erik, John would like you to get in touch
with him so you can work the transfer out.  His e-mail address is:

This also means, Erik, that you can take the two articles for the web site
that you wanted directly off these files.  I can't remember whether or not I
already asked you this, but would you like to maintain electronic archives
from now on on all future issues of TAG?  I can ask the new printers to
e-mail you each issue as it comes out.

John also has master photocopies of all the previous TAGs so they can be
reprinted.  Should these be saved, too, or is it enough to have the
electronic copies?

Now for some bad news.  David, especially take note.  He hasn't billed us
for 5 or 6 previous issues, and he is going to start working on those bills
right away.  It is such a relief not to do business with him any more! I
still can't believe that a business person could be so negligent about
sending out bills.  Also, no more constant phone calls to move the process
along!

I'll be sending you all a TAG update later today or tomorrow.
