Join members of the Aquatic Gardeners Association for a fun-filled weekend
of activities and southern hospitality while networking with hobbyists and
professionals on the art and science of keeping planted aquariums.

Hotel reservations will be made directly to the Clarion Hotel on a first
come basis before Oct.1 which is the date the reserved rooms will be
released to the public. Check in time is 3:00 and check out is 11:00 a.m.
We will make arrangements for your luggage if you are taking the Sunday
cruise. Room rates are $65.00 plus tax.

Friday, November 3, 2000, 6:30 p.m., Banquet, Tennessee Aquarium and
private tour of the Aquarium.

Saturday, November 4, 2000: Tennessee Aquarium
7-8     a.m.: Continental Breakfast
8a.m.-4p.m.: Speakers:

Neil Frank: "Alternative Ways to Keep Planted Aquaria".

Paul Krombholz: "Growing Aquatic Plants".

David Lass: "Lighting Options for the Planted Aquarium".

Charlene Nash: "Aquarium Plants in the Public Aquarium.

Karen Randall: "Meeting the Nutritional Needs of Aquarium Plants".

Lunch will be on your own in town.

4p.m. -7p.m.: Silent Auction. Cash bar, hors d'oeuvres.
        Please bring your favorite unusual plants to donate to this
fundraiser for the AGA.

Dinner on your own in town.

Sunday, November 5, 2000: Clarion Hotel

7-8 a.m.: Continental Breakfast
8-10:30 a.m.: Meetings, panel discussion-hotel conference room.
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Fall color cruise and barbecue lunch aboard the
Chattanooga Star Riverboat.

TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS: Discounts with Delta, USAir, and American Airlines
have
been arranged for attendees mailing reservations before September 2. Call

EST. Discounts are 10% off lowest discount fare and 15% off full fare
refundable
no penalty fare. These discounts apply Oct.30-Nov.8.

Most flights come to Chattanooga through Atlanta, Cincinnati, Chicago,
Nashville and Charlotte.  There is an Express Shuttle Service from
Nashville and Atlanta to Chattanooga for $59.00 round trip every 2 hours
daily. Phone: 423 954-1400 for reservations. The Clarion Hotel has a
courtesy van from the Chattanooga Airport if you will notify them of your
arrival time. The Aquarium van will be available for a limited number of
pick-ups from the shuttle stop or the airport as well. Please include your
travel information on the registration form.
