Hello all, I would suggest sending the details on the auction out with the registration packet (if we have one???) just to those who actually register. The brochure states we are having an auction. Details like splits aren't really necessary in the brochure. And debating the split will just slow down the printing of the brochure, and therefore the "advertising time", which is already starting to run short. Jersey is already starting to plug the ACA convention for 2001, more than 13 months away. And we have just over four and a half months. I don't think many conventions advertise the split in their ads. I may be wrong, it's just not something I've noticed, but I don't make a decision to go to a convention based on making money at the auction. It is nice to get a split to help defray travel and hotel costs, but how much of a split does not affect my decision whether or not to go to a convention. Just some thoughts... Mike
