Just a note on conference progress. We received 3 registrations already and
maybe 3 corporate sponsors. Marilyn Aquatic Nursery has committed and Kent
and Aquatic Ecosystems are considering it. $500.00 each. I told them if we
were low on registrations, we would back off on sponsorship costs. I am
getting commitments now and money later when we know how many are
registering. If you are contacting any corporations or businesses for
support or you know anyone who is, let me know so we don't duplicate our
efforts. Jack has mailing labels on the way so I will start mailing
brochures to members next week. I hope someone put the event in the
magazines on time. I put it on Gardenweb. Put it anywhere you can. i have
sent brochures to Claus, to contacts in Hawaii and Singapore and Japan. If
you know any groups that we need to send a batch to, let me know.  I will
also fax one to this guy in Spain who has the Especies magazine. Thanks
