I have been reading all of the postings, but not responding as there didn't seem a need. Most everything has seemed to be pretty much informational. As to the PAM "issue", I think it should be Mary's decision. Period. She is the Editor, and SHE is the one who will have to do the begging to come up with "fill" to run an ad plus 3 more pages. And SHE is the one doing all of the work. If she can fit it in, great. If not, well then maybe she can get it in the next TAG. After all, from what I've seen of the reciprocal "agreement", there has been no mention of consecutive issues (I may have missed that). I think the editorial content (including ads) of TAG is the editor's purview. The last time I looked, TAG was not supported by advertisers. In other words, they do not dictate how we publish TAG. I have no problem with running ads for PAM, in fact, I think it would be a disservice to our membership to NOT let them know about PAM. This goes both ways. I think Dave owes it to his readers to keep them informed about what is going on in the planted aquarium hobby. And that means letting them know about the AGA and what they are up to. This is a service to his readers, and as we are (or will soon be) a non-profit entity, he should run ads for the AGA "gratis". This isn't so much as a "this for that" ad exchange, but as a service that any concerned publication would perform for their readers. That's why people buy it. For information... 'nuff said... It's 90 degrees at 11:30 pm and I'm off to feed the fish. Mike
