I will be willing to participate in such a committee if only to act as a
liaison with the contest planning folks, at least. We might be able to get
some of them involved (especially Mr. David Youngker, who not only was
last year's keeper of the prize merchandise, but is a Chattanooga local;
perhaps he would help with the vendor equipment?).

As for speakers, may I suggest that we include one "overseas famous guy"
(such as Claus, Kaspar, Christel, Jan B), one nice "basics" talk given by
someone famous and domestic (Karen, George, Neil, etc), one "total
unknown" by someone nobody has likely to ever have seen before, and two
other "specialty topics" talks along the lines of what we had last year.
