Hi Guys, Paul-we couldn't get anyone to do the convention this year-maybe next year-so I am doing it one more time so it doesn't get dropped (which it will if no one takes it next year). Tom Barr couldn't make it last year but maybe he can this year. Karen suggested Christel Kasselman since book may be out. What is the vote here? I would also like a couple of speakers from the industry as well (they are usually on expense accounts) and no repeat of speakers from last year-keep it different. Eric I am appointing you to be on the committee to solicit support and be the liason between showcase and convention. All businesses that donate should know it is for the entire thing to be used as we need it unless they designate something special. We still need vendors to show up as well ($300.) If they want to advertise in our packet that is $100. Other donations for auction, showcase prizes, etc will have the businesses in a simple thank you list in the packet. Do I hear any comment on the choosing of the Marriott or not? Are the changes from last year a problem? (NO shuttle from airport, etc and being a distance from the aquarium? Our Sat seminars are at Marriott-better for vendors too. If I don't hear any help or feedback soon I will make decisions and appoint people to get support etc. David Y. is now a TNAQ volunteer so he will be working with me on this stuff now, Erik.
