Now I know how I can respond to the many inquiries that I get regarding 
why TAG is late:

"We are getting a new editor for TAG, and the remaining 2001 issues are
delayed until this occurs.
It's still in the planning/budget stage.  As part of this, we are
considering upgrading
other aspects of the magazine, and would greatly appreciate your input on
what you would like to see from TAG.  

(And yes, "on time" is already on the list!  Thank you for your extreme
patience over the last SEVERAL yearS with this.)"

Thanks, Erik!  Is this response OK with everyone else?

Suggestion:  In order to fulfill our commitment to our members for 2001,
would we consider sending them back issues of PAM?  If there is little
overlap in membership, this may be a welcome idea.  Let's empty Dave's 
garage for him!  Seriously, any new TAG may take awhile to get going
(unless someone can finish what Mary had started) and maybe PAM would
placate
most members.
