No sales rep available today at the Courtyard Marriott - someone will
call me back.
The Courtyard Marriott and the Crystal Gateway Marriott (where the convention is
hosted) are sister hotels and run a shuttle back and forth between each other.
There are atleast 25 rooms currently available at the Courtyard for
the convention
dates. Rick will talk to the Crystal Gateway today to see if he can
work things out
from that end. If he cannot get more room nights at the convention
rate from him,
we'll try and get them to work something out with the Courtyard. If that doesn't
work - we'll try to work something out with the Courtyard directly and get
discounted room rates for our group. That's what I'm trying to do now so that we
have something in place in the event we need it - don't worry - no
contract will be
placed until the AGA has approved it. If all fails - we can simply
direct people to
get their rooms at the Courtyard directly.
They do run a shuttle between hotels so it shouldn't be too much of an
inconvinience.
No worries - it'll all work out.
