If someone wants to reserve the room for him on their credit card, you can
cancel before 6:00 PM on the first day with no penalty if he doesn't show
for some reason... (Tell him he'll have to pay with cash when he gets here)

I emailed him about 4 days ago asking if he is going to handle hotel
reservations himself, he said YES. I'm not sure why he is emailing you
instead of me.
Another problem is that he is going back to Poland on 15th and I'm going
back to NJ on Sunday 14th. Not sure how he plans to get to the airport.

I am writing to you in behalf of Marian Wojtaszek. We are sorry to trouble
you once again, but we still need your help. Marian has asked me to make a
hotel reservation for him but I have some trouble with that. First of all
he doesn't have a credit card. Is it possible to make any hotel
reservation within US without card? Another my question concerns group
prices for AGA conventions, I have tried to check room availability for 11
-15 November but system response is that reduced price reservations can be
made only 12- 14 November, maybe you know something about that? Marian is
going to arrive on 11 November and cams back home on 15 November. He has
has fixed all except this hotel booking, he has booked air tickets, has
found money for his stay and all payments but we still don't know how to
book a room in USA. Thank you in advance for your help.
