Now moving onto the truly silly.I attempted another logo rework in time for the convention (or, if you prefer, "late" for Cheryl's brochure reprint). It's always bugged me that the current thing's so asymmetric. It worked OK on a white background because everything fades into white. But it looks kinda silly on black or green. So made all the little "stuff the AGA does" bits in an ellipse, such that it will look classier when inside a larger "white" ellipse on a dark background (with the bottom corm perhaps sticking into the background -- a little classy touch). It was also a good chance to update some of the images inside the logo.
Let me know if you have any comments. I might have another go at it tomorrow. My gut is telling me that I need to flip the Apon thing over to make "ASSOCIATION" fit, but I need to sleep on it. Shoot, I forgot to include the "ribbon" over the aquascape too.
