Ocean Nutrition came through in a big way for us, only a day too late. I
came home to four boxes of goods to have been given away at the convention.
In my talks with their marketing manager I found out that due to coloration
issues in the printing, they were going to have to relabel or thow away all
the bottles. They were very generous and gracious considering the
circumstances. It turns out that the rep I was dealing with was fired in the
process and never sent in the request. With two weeks to go before the
conference I ended up dealing with a high up in the Marketing/Advertising
dept and he came through quickly and generously. It was a matter of the USPS
that got in the way.
Taking all that into consideration I'd like to give them treatment as if the
goods had indeed made it to the conference just like any other donor. I'll
be more than happy to ship out a box of stuff to groups like GWAPA and DFWAPC
for distribution at club/AGA related events. How does that sound to y'all?
