Auctions are like driving in rush hour -- everything happens fast and there are many chances for things to suddenly stop -- but I was gone from the room for only a short time when the crash happened and the auction resumed full speed before I returned. Great adaptation! I can't wait see the auction results from the auction. A lot of items were moved during a relatively short time. And the Silent Auction ran much better than before. After you folks have caught up on your sleep, don't wash the convention out of your mind. Anyone that has any comments about the convention, any view points, critiques, comlaints, whatever, please post them for discussion or send them to me to so we can incorporate them into the Proposal Reuqirements and Guidelines document for the next convention. Notes, scribbles, things you heard from other attendees, everything is welcome and wanted. It is the looking back that improves our looking forward. We didn't have an AGA Board meeting or convnetion commeittee meeting in Virginia (when was there time?) so we will need to do the reviews here on this list and by email. I want to give my personal thanks to all the GWAPA folks, especially Rick and Ghazanfar, that made everyone, even the AKs like me, feel very welcome. sh --- Ghazanfar Ghori <ghorig@gmail.com> wrote: > I can SLEEP tonight! Two presentations by Jan Bastmeijer, two by Amano (one of which, Ben Bolton found to be a ribtickler). . .Walstad, Senske, Olvier Knott from Germany, Krombholtz. This was the most broadly international convention so far . . . People came from the USA, England, Italy, Poland, Netherleands, Germany, Japan, Canada . . . _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
