The problem with scheduling up front is that the date must depend on what we can get from the hotel. This year, diff dates were avail at diff hotels. So unless we wait until a contract is in hand, we'd be locking ourselves in on hotel options and negotitating strength. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut ----> All the more reason to do the hotel much earlier too ;-) sh --- Phil Edwards <biotypical@hotmail.com> wrote: > > >We could find other ways to honor vendors like Seachem > that want to go > >above > >and beyond base prices, while still not making it > cost-prohibitive for the > >very interesting "little guys". > > Interestingly, it wasn't the cost of the table that was > an issue. Two presentations by Jan Bastmeijer, two by Amano (one of which, Ben Belton found to be a ribtickler). . .Walstad, Senske, Oliver Knott from Germany, Krombholtz. This was the most broadly international convention so far . . . People came from the USA, England, Italy, Poland, Netherlands, Germany, Japan, Mexico . . .and one from even farther away, Oak Point Texas ;-) _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
