I am still here. Just catching up on the afternoon's
emails.

My thoughts on these issues have been discussed ad
infinitem last year so I wanted to sit back and see
what others think. Just in case anyone was not on the
list last year here they are again. They are also in
the committee position description form .....

The Welcome committee was designed to welcome every
registrant by name. New or crusty old AGA Veteran
regardless. They were going to introduce themselves
and let folks know to look out for other people
wearing the "welcome Committee" badges to help them
out with any questions or problems with the
conference/hotel/directions etc.

The Speaker committee was supposed to have an
individual responsible for every speaker. This person
was to have introduced themselves to their assigned
speaker via email in advance and to ensure the
speakers travel, hotel , and audio/visual needs were
taken care of. They were also responsible for
appropriate speaker introductions to be delivered by
the MC or themselves.
