There's saying negative things and there's saying negative things. We've just digested a slew of them about AGA2004. Maybe there's a way to present an analysis of PlantFest without being an attack on Tom as a person.
If we were considering asking Tom to organize part of a convention in California or Florida, we'd be looking for feedback from people who have experienced his other projects. This is actually the first negative comment I've heard about PlantFest; I was under the impression it was "great" based on the public postings.
This is just like if we were considering buying a large number of plants for a club auction from a particular Internet Supplier about whom nothing but praise is ever made in public, but whom several clubs and people have had serious problems with... it'd be useful to know this. So to speak.
