[AGA-mcm] Fw: TAG 2005 schedule

Hear you go folks. Below you will find the publication schedule for ATG
during 2005. Our goal is to move the schedule back by approximately two
weeks over the course of the year to give us some extra time in case of
unexpected (well, they aren't unexpected, but we never know what they will
be!<g>) problems that crop up.

Phil, the reason I'm replying to both lists is taht I don't seem to have
your direct e-mail. So if you can shoot that to me, I'd appreciate it.
Also, Erik, if you haven't already (and knowing you, you probably have<g>)
can you add Phil to the TAGGER's list?

Phil, when it come to dealing with advertisers, what you TELL them, is that
they MUST have their ads, on CD, in appropriate format, to us by the
materials date. The reality is, if it's a new ad, and they pay up-front,
there is at least another month, some times as much as 6 weeks before the
drop-dead date, AS LONG AS we know that we need to hold the space. So you
can use that as a negotiation tool with companies if it is too close to the
materials deadline.

Thanks, everyone!

Karen

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------

1801 - Dec. 1 Materials deadline (to Karen)
         - Jan. 1 - Cheryl
        - Feb. 1 - Printer
        - Feb 15 - Mail

This one is a little tricky because both Scott and I will be away from Jan
25- Feb. 11. So it really needs to be ready to proof earlier. I'm working
on it now, and hope to get it to you early to give you more time.

18-02 - Feb 8 - Materials deadline (to Karen)
           - Mar. 8 - Cheryl
           - Apr. 8 - Printer
           - May 22 - Mail

 18-03 - May 1 - Materials deadline (to Karen)
           - June 1 - Cheryl
           - July 1 - Printer
           - July 15 - Mail

18-04 - Aug. 1 - Materials deadline (to Karen)
           - Sept. 1 - Cheryl
           - Oct. 1 - Printer
           - Oct. 15 - Mail

This will move us back to the middle of the first month covered by each
issue, which gives us plenty of lee-way in case problems crop up. Then I
think we can just leave it on that rotation. Sound OK?
