Those DVDs of 2004 are still selling well. Are you going to need to do a second run?
Well, it's so hard to define what a "run" is on these things anyway. Last year I did them 2-3 at a time, because it took 30 minutes each to burn a disk. Now with the nifty 8x media, I did 20 the first day, stuffed em into envelopes, did another 20 the second day, then realized THAT wasn't enough & I had to do another 10-15 (I think).
As of today, there's one copy left, so yeah, I'll have to do another 10 after the next order. Add to that, I'm out of CD media & almost out of DVD blanks. Had to put in another order not a month after my last one.
Great labelling, btw. The little things make a big diff -- like having the flow line of the pool and Wash Monument off-center and balanced with the foreground dominance of the the AGA and DVD lettering -- relatively open space on the lower right. Walks the eye right onto the plaza on the right, up the pool, monument, to the label and back down around. Actually, thinking back to art class, this is good use of circular flow technique from the Romantic Period.
Ha! Now I know who needs to do next year's aquascaping demo. Yes, I did try to 'scape the label a little. Still bugs me that "Aquascaping Contest Awards" didn't fit right. Maybe I'll try to fix that on the next "run". :)
Since we will probably have two years before the next convetion DVD needs to be made, the dual layers ought to be priced low enough to be practical.
Yeah, unfortunately. Heck, by then, I might be able to do HD-DVD or Blu-Ray. At a minimum, Anamorphic widescreen.
