Oops... 'course this has been on the website for over a year. -- Erik Olson erik at thekrib dot com ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Mon, 24 Jan 2005 08:09:55 +0930 From: Dave & Robyn Wilson <aqua.green@bigpond.com> To: erik@thekrib.com Subject: "Pogostemon in North Australia" Hello Erik, Nice work, all those early tag articles. Must have taken ages to scan them. I have hard copies of all the early TAGS but I will ask me wife to get the CD for my next birthday. Thanks for doing that, I know what it is like to do lots of work for your hobby. Last year I finished submissions to our very careful Government to have Peacock Gudgeons added to the Australian Federal List of allowable imports. It took 2 years to complete the report on its impacts to the environment and a year for them to process it. You can see that report at www.angfa.org.au in the projects section. Sorry to be a pain but the article I wrote about Pogostemon appears in the index as "Pogostemon in North America" when it does not actually occur in North America unless I can send you some seed. But that is probably against the law everywhere because some of our aquatic plants are pests over there and the revers is also true. We have just had a large section of the Darwin River treated with herbicide for Cabomba caroliniana. Cheers Dave Wilson PO Box 756 Howard Springs NT 0835 Australia Phone / Fax 618 8983 1483
