At this point I'm getting a little shaky about the conference from a 
personal perspective.  The last two times I've ended up calling businesses 
no earlier than two months before the deal and it doesn't go over well to 
say the least.  If they don't have something reasonably solid in a couple 
weeks then I would rather see things go ahead for an '06 convention.  Call 
me self-centered, but I don't want my personal credibility to get ruined 
because of other peoples' emergencies, especially since I hope to be doing 
this for many years to come.  Given 20 months of lead time we could pull in 
some serious material aid and have the planning to ensure that '04 doesn't 
repeat with the vendors.
