Re: [AGA-mcm] Feedback on the AGA

Hi Phil,

Interesting stuff in the thread. I'm also pleased that people kept it constructive. (though there were a lot more "I'd like to see..." than there were offers to write articles on the same ;-) And most of the complaints were what I would have expected from folks who enjoy spending time on BB's. (which, in fact, is NOT the majority of our membership, though they may be the most visible)

As far as beginners stuff is concerned, I'd LOVE some beginner level articles. I do not want to include another regular column at this time. I need room to be able to move things around. One thing that people don't realize about "Stranded" is that it gives us some flexibility in page count, because we can work with Scott to make it even out our page numbers. That's not an obvious part of reading the magazine, but it's far from easy to come up with a page count that is an exact multiple of 4.<g>

Subject: [AGA-mcm] Feedback on the AGA

Hey all,

I started a thread on Aquatic Plant Central for the members there to voice their commendations and critiques of the AGA and some interesting stuff has come up. If you have a moment, please hop over and read the thread linked below.

BTW, Karen, if you really want someone to write a beginner's column I'll do it.

Best,
Phil
