Well this reaises the bigger questions of where is AGA going, how do we envision it 1, 2 , or 3 years from now, etc. But we could talk about that stuff all year and never actually decide anything. So the heck with all that and on to specifics: RE TFH book: Until we actually see copies of the book, we should not commit to purchase any. We'd be buying a pig in a poke from a farmer that's sold some bad pigs. Get us some copies and then we can talk. If it's a good book (good for aquatic gardeners) and we can move them (they are cheap enough and there's no insistance on the selling price by TFH) then let's decide based on the what we've seen. RE ADA Journal: These I've seen. They are on a rack in my basement. They are in Japanese and unlikely to sell. I thought and previously suggested that maybe we could add them as a bonus to other orders but that idea fizzled before the sweat formed on the glass. So I think the probability is that they will be in my basement for many years to come unless we start giving them away to folks that might appreciate them. Karen, I can bring a bunch up to NEC and we can use them as "TakeOne"s to help attract a crowd at our table. You want any for other events you'll attend this year? Amano meant for us to give them away anyhow. RE TAG: Last time we talked about enlarging TAG, we paused because we didn't know if we could afford to do it. We didn't know if we were soundly in blank ink or not. But given the 2004 and year-to-date 2005 results, I can't imagine it costing more than we can afford. So what's the next step to get that moving? Can we put in nonbinding votes on page size versus page count? I nonbindingly move that we increase the size of TAG by approximatley 10% as of Issue 18-3. All in favor say, "Vellum". sh _Aquarium Plants_, Christel Kasselmann, will be speaking about plants and tanks at the NEC 30th Annual Convention It's not too late to register.
