Oh, OK. I have NO problem with someone doing a review. For that matter,
I'm sure I'll buy it. I have every planted aquarium book ever published.<g>
And, BTW, I do keep my eye out for new books. Lee Finley gets them to me as
soon as he has them in his hands. It's just that there are a lot more
mediocre (or worse) books written than good ones.

I don't think that asking for a review copy and publishing an honest review
is getting into bed with TFH. I view that as a service to our members.
I apologize if I wasn't clear enough before--I wasn't *really* thinking of
carrying this book in our bookstore unless it was fabulous.
However, to my knowledge, no one in AGA-land is actively seeking new gems
to offer. I am not volunteering for this. Repeat, I am not volunteering
for this. :-) But it would be nice if someone were on the look-out for
those hard-to-find, as yet undiscovered books.
We have had the same books in the bookstore for years. A proven way to
generate interest in ALL of the offerings is to offer a new book once per
year. Erik is certainly doing his part with the media selection.
