It's actually not that bad. I normally do them ten at a time, it takes very little effort, just swapping disks into the drive and then loading them into the printer. I did about 50 of the convention DVD when we started, just to give you an idea.
If we went "pro" on the dups, we'd have to buy on the order of a thousand of each. No thanks. I'm rather happy being able to produce them "on demand". Imagine if we'd gotten the TAG archive professionally duped before the PAM fiasco. :)
The DVDs are extremely cool. But once the film is edited, could the grunt work be done by someone else?
At some point, maybe it might be worth enlisting the help of someone else with a nice quality CD printer. But we're not there yet. :)
