Hi, Definitely call and fight for it! (I know easy for me to say).Marineland said check back with them in a few years, they may be worth another try.
RedSea is always on the edge, maybe we can tip them over. There was another company considering....hmm...drats where are my notes. They were a call back place...nice women, they were coming out with new plant products....i will keep thinking.
I will see if I can get a HAGEN contact too...It is interesting that Milwaulkee and Kent were the two I heard were most upset about the vendor stuff at the DC convention, did those two guys hang out with each other. Kent is a hard hit, they really should be there...
That being said, these things do happen, don't let it get you down. I know it use to really get me down, not good.
One way I would ask them about their next year commitment is to write and say we are coming up to the next year of advertisment and do they have any changes to their ad, etc.
Well off to get sleep, Isaak was up at 230 last night. Take care, Kathy On Wed, 8 Jun 2005, Phil Edwards wrote:
Scott,As far as Kent goes, they've recently been bought up by Don Corleone over at Central Pet & Cement Shoes. There have been some major changes made to the infrastructure of the company, especially in the financials. That's why they're "refocusing". I'm still in the frame of mind to call and fight for the advertisement though. :)You know, if these folks with dedicated plant supply lines aren't willing to advertise then I'll just start hitting up the big boys like BigAls.I do have a message out to Mike and Jeff Senske, hopefully that'll be returned on a positive note.Regards, Phil _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
