Aquariumgarden.com made the contest notice a sticky. APC did too but let it slip farther down the page -- It was pushed down by the announcement of Carlos's return. The others I've been refreshing with replies/small additional notices to keep the thread on the first page of the thread indexes. The biggest site in Australia seems something of a bust for real plant interest. It's like, like Australians, hollywood style. Is the AB contest bust or what? RH said he wouldn't run one this year but would let the AB 'scaper geeks do it if they made a nice proposal. Btw, I'm not sure that the AB forums are that big. I think there has been a lot of bleed to APC and a couple of the others. The life span of a forum (aquatic or otherwise) seems to me to be about 18 months with the peak at about 12. Sometimes they refresh when a new core group comes along. sh --- Phil Edwards <biotypical@hotmail.com> wrote: > APC, The Planted Tank.net, AquaticQuotient, and > PlantGeek.com come to mind > immediately. > > Aquabotanic is a biggie, but I'm a little iffy about it > being a commercial > endeavour.
