I have an idea, and it may not be a worth doing but I
thouught I would float it out and see....
I have secured us (The AGA) a table at no cost in the
main vendor table/hallway area. In turn we will
hopefully be able to do something similar for the ACA
at the next AGA event if they would like.
We had discussed brochures and maybe tshirts but what
if we sold plants? I can donate some clippings and so
can others I am sure.
The way it would work would be clippings in bags with
a AGA business card stapled to the bag. I proposed to
the TCA that if we do it we would split the profit
between ACA and AGA since they are comping us a table.
I think we can bring in a few hundred bucks for both
clubs and more importantly get people excited about
the AGA by letting them buy really good plants.
I know it will be a pain to staff the table but it
does not have to be staffed all the time. Easy for me
to say since I will already be working like a madman
on other things.
This is just an idea, we do not have to do it. We get
a table either way to do with what we want so whether
we decide to sell some weeds does not matter.
