But that's *exactly* what one needs, of course -- a club that is stable 
enough that you COULD expect a chair to hold a volunteer team together for 
a year.  That's precisely how conventions like the ACA and NEC run every 
year.  The ACA already knows where 2006 will be -- they will announce it 
at the convention -- and is quite far on the 2007 research.

There aren't any long-established clubs (SFBAAPS is the oldest!), and 
perhaps it's a plant people "attitude" of not wanting structure, but for 
a looser club, it really will require a lot of help from "nationals" 
like us to keep things running over the course of 1 year+.
