Re: [AGA-mcm] AGA Discussion Forum

OK, I will help Phil do whatever he needs me to do.

Who is Ray Cone? The name is familiar but I can't
place it. Do we know him well enough at this point to
say he will be in it for the long-term? If so let's
get him on board.

What about Jeff Ludwig? He had also expressed an
interest last year in this type of project. Anyone
know what he is up to these days?

As far as Forum software, I am not very knowledgable.
Can you guys point us to sample sites so that we can
see them in use? I do have an opinion on a few of them
but I just can't remember which is which.

The software, as Erik said is secondary at this point
to the team but in the long run the forum will only be
as good as the weakest link in the chain.

As far as implementation, I think we should build it
first, then test it before we release it. Sounds like
a strange concept coming from a software salesman eh?
;-)

I see us doing some press releases on other forums and
TAG well in advance of "go-live". Let's get them
excited, make them wait just a little and then
introduce it when the timing is right. Perhaps we
could coincide with the Aquascaping Contest results
announcement. This way we can capitalize on our sites
highest traffic day.

Regards,

Larry
