If we promise that we sell as a package, then we have something to bring to the bargaining table with the author (and possibly their foreign language publishing company). They will sell a few more books. Everyone wins.
Mike Wise requires anyone who wants one of his apisto translations to send a xerox of the front cover of the book to prove they own it.

That might be cool, IMO there are more Crypt-heads than Echino-groupies. Does anyone have this book? I love the idea of doing more than one, whether we package them together or not it gives our book store the impression of having twice as much cool stuff. I could be remembering it wrongthoughand of course the fact that it is written in German had a factor in the interest generated. It is a nice book, hard cover about an 1-1/4"thickwith gloss pages, but I am not sure how many people will be interested in having a black and white translation to cross index with the text. There are certainly some of us me included. I am just notsurehow many. Here's a far-out-there idea. What if we did the same for Neils Jacobsen's Cryptocoryne book and offered them both as a bundle package? That might help sweeten the pot. Did he write that in Danish or German?
