Sorry, I had it backwards. The Singapore dollar is worth
less than the US dollar. One Singapore dollar = 0.5922
US dollars. When you see S$18/bk, that's Singapore
dollars. Each book costs 0.592 X $S18 = $10.66 USD.
30 books X 10.66/book = $320.
Shipping for 30 books is S$300 or $178 US dollars (S$300
X 0.592)
So total cost of 30 books (in US dollars) is $498 ($320
plus $178)
Cost per book is $16.60 ($498 divided by 30).
Do you want me to place an order for 30 books?

If it's true that we can get them at $17 per book,
that's not too bad.
But I don't understand the part where she says "Each
book costs S$18",
as that would seem to imply around $30USD per book. Do
those shipping
costs include the price of the books, or JUST the
shipping?

PS: The main issue we're concerned on the board about
is that at current
sales rates, it will take us 2-3 years to sell these 30
books, and we
could end up with another "Tropica 1st edition"
problem.
