It's an owl, silly! We bought a new digital SLR last month. It was either that or a sickeningly cute picture of the kids. Actually I quite like how it coincidentally has similar features to Ray's "Mike Wazowski" icon.
I'm seeing no looping on my side. Note that if you ask to be notified of replies, you'll get two notes, one from "forum@" telling you there's a reply, and another to aga-mcm@ with the actual reply. I'm going to turn the notification feature OFF OFF OFF for me. I've always preferred to get the damn reply directly, rather than a note telling me there's a reply.
