Re: [AGA-mcm] APC post re contest

Yeah most of the snide stuff has been showing up on the
Australian board, where, again, a response was posted
referring to the wonderful ADA contest.

All the posts I have been making to forums re the contest
used a link to the Contest image on the contest site, so
they've been updating all along.

If the image had "text" in it, I wouldn't even have had to
update or adds additional posts as the contest progressed
;-)

Of course, then the post would soon fall off the "front"
page of the forum and be lost their back pages. Which is
why, on various dates I've been editing or adding posts,
whichever seemed to bring the message up front.

In the early days, someone on the Australian forum even
suspected that I was a lackey for this AGA outfit.

Btw, fwiw, almost all of the forums use pphhbb (or whatever
it's aphonetically acronymed). Definitely what most folks
are likely to be familiar with. Those fibby forums have
been the easiest to post on, although, not without
occasional difficulty. Several of them, including APC have
been testy about my firewall/antivirus software, sometimes
refusing to process posts until I turn the safety software
off. This has happened with Zone Alarm and Norton suites
(on diff machines), and my thinking is that either the
anti-pop-up or anti-redirect feature is the brown burr in
the chips. ;-)
