Re: [AGA-mcm] Who's doing all that posting

I'm guessing the count includes the early posts from the
"prerelease" days. If so, then Karen might be currently the
most active participant.

My contribution is definitely weighted towards the early technical setup (where I was 70% of the posts). I have since backed off as discussions have moved onto more appropriate topics than I can contribute. (On the other hand, it is very refreshing to have a detailed dialog about the aquascaping contest with actual participants on "our turf".)

I noted on the forum last Tuesday that we passed 1000 posts, which ain't too shabby. We'll probably hit 1200 tomorrow, maybe even our 200th subscriber. There are a handful of folks using the Geezer Gateway too (not Karen!), and I heard back from at least one. When George Booth joins, I'll know we've arrived.

I still don't get it, though.

I read the sucker just like I read my e-mail, asking the board to show all new posts since my last visit. I don't pay any attention to what "board" they're in. The threading is cool, and the image attachment is nice. But all the handles instead of names bugs me (about as much as people who like to speak in letters instead of words "R U going to fix my entry?). But if it's what the kids want, I enjoy learning new technical challenges... :)

PS: I mailed off the aquascaping contest ribbons today. Not one went to the US. I filled out 21 customs declarations.
